Macro Language Compatibility

I have a created macros in Microsoft Project 2003 and 2007 using their VBA programming language. I have been considering using a Primavera product such as SureTrak which I am told creates macros in SBL(Softbridge BASIC Language).

I would like to hear users commnents on the re-usability of the VBA code in a SureTrak Macro.
I am sure that the object classes and their properties and methods would differ from application to application and would have to be altered. I would like to know if the programming logic that performs calculations, reads and saves text or binary files created in Visual Basic programs, etc. is re-usable.

    David,

The Softbridge Basic Language is similiar to VBA and once you look at the samples provided with SureTrak you will be able to work out the methods involved in automating your SureTrak processes.

Re how much of your MS Project macros are reusable really depends on what you are trying to do so its impossible to provide even a wild guess given the lack of specific detail.
