Dear all,

I need your assistance.

 

My boss is asking me about the fixing of the manhours for unit of work. I do not know how I can do this.

    It seems that your boss is asking about production rates.

    ie how many blocks can a blockwork gang lay in one hour.

    The answer has to come from the production rates used in the pricing build up so the first call will be to your estimating department.

    If you are tempted to look at the PP rates and norms section then do so with care as the data may not be applicable to your own projects.
