Performance Measures & Indicators
The learner should be able to turn a project objective and a management decision into a small, coherent set of performance measures. They should define what each measure means, calculate it from controlled evidence, establish an appropriate reference and response threshold, recognise misleading aggregation, distinguish leading from lagging indicators, and test whether the information changes a management decision. The output is a usable measurement specification and an operating review cycle, rather than a dashboard containing everything that can be counted.

Variance & Trend Analysis
The learner should be able to establish a valid comparison, calculate period and cumulative variance, analyse a time series, distinguish delivery deterioration from timing or data effects, find causes across discipline boundaries and test whether an intervention improves the outcome. They should turn a difference into an explanation that identifies consequences, owner, action, forecast implication and next evidence point.

Integrated Cost & Schedule Performance
The learner should be able to connect authorised scope, time-phased budget, evidence of accomplishment and incurred cost at a common cut-off. They should calculate and interpret basic Earned Value Management measures, reconcile them to source records, distinguish cost efficiency from expenditure timing, recognise the limitations of budget-based schedule indicators, challenge aggregation and use performance evidence to test remaining-work forecasts.

Integrated Forecasting & Predictive Analysis
The learner should be able to produce one coherent view of expected project outcomes by reconciling schedule, cost, physical accomplishment, acceptance, commercial exposure and uncertainty. They should identify inconsistent assumptions, distinguish target from forecast, build conditional scenarios, test sensitivities, explain ranges/confidence, challenge predictive models and compare forecast outcomes with later evidence.

Reporting, Insight & Decision Support
The learner should be able to turn validated project-control evidence into a clear report that enables a named audience to decide or act. They should select the information appropriate to that authority, explain material exceptions and causes, connect current performance to forecast consequences, compare options, state a recommendation with uncertainty, and maintain the decision/action trail through to evidence of effect.
