Bar Chart

A graphical chart on which activities are represented as bars drawn against a common time scale. Typically a date scale is drawn across the top of the page and a list of activities down the left hand side of the page. Activity timing and durations are represented by horizontal bars.

Additional information, such as resources, costs and dependencies are also often shown on this chart.
